How to reach us
One email address, read by a human. No forms, no chatbots, no autoresponders.
What to write to us about
Corrections and updates. If a price is out of date, an underwriter has switched, a regulation has changed, or a fact is simply wrong — tell us. We will fix it, credit you in the change log if you want, and not get defensive about it.
Reader questions. If you've read a guide and something still isn't clear, ask. Your question might tell us we need to rewrite a section, which helps everyone.
Insurance brokers and underwriters. If you write business in the village hall, parish council, charity or community-event space and you'd like us to look at your proposition, write in. We don't accept paid placement, but we do want to know who's in the market.
Affiliate and commercial partnerships. If you run an affiliate programme that is genuinely relevant to small UK community organisations — insurance, banking, DBS checks, charity accounting software — we'd like to hear from you.
Press and speaking. Yes, but be specific about what and when.
What we can’t help with
Specific insurance quotes. We are not an FCA-authorised intermediary and we cannot arrange a policy for you. Use one of the brokers we link to in the relevant guide — they can.
Live legal disputes. If you are in the middle of a real dispute about trustee liability, a safeguarding incident, a property issue, or a regulatory investigation, you need a charity-sector solicitor, not a website. The Law Society and Citizens Advice are reasonable starting points.
Charity Commission disputes. Speak to the Commission directly, or to a charity-sector solicitor who has dealt with Commission case work before.
Tax and accounting questions specific to your charity. Speak to an independent examiner or a qualified accountant. The ICAEW has a charity-specialist directory.
